18 Days!!! Itinerary for Friday and Saturday the 4th

Thanks so much for coming to the shower.  It was great to see you all and celebrate Pelita and Marc.

Here is the itinerary:

Friday October 3rd, 2008

Zena day spa in am.. confirming appt. tomorrow (anyone who is in town is welcome to make their own appointments)-  I will confirm tomorrow exactly when Pelita will be there and which location.

4pm Vino 100 (see earlier blog)

530pm Rehearsal Ceremony

630 Dinner at Luna's in Clovis

Saturday October 4th, 2008

11am- Meet at Clovis Memorial Veteran's Building for set up

12-3pm Getting Ready- Place to be announced (Probably Pelita's apt.)

3pm- Pictures at Wedding site

500 Wedding!!!

Less than a MONTH!!

It is definitely crunch time.  I am so excited to see you all this weekend.  The shower is coming together nicely.  I would love for all of you to bring a small plate of goodies that can be dipped in chocolate to the shower.  We are having a chocolate fountain and a variety of treats would be great.  Please bring them on a plain white plate... enough to share... ideas: strawberries, bananas, pineapple, marshmellows, shortbread, graham crackers.. anything you would like.  Let me know via email what you will be bringing by Thursday night.  Thanks!!! ALSO:  if you are able to come early to Fresno on FRIDAY before the wedding- Pelita and I are thinking SPA!!!  Zena see link: www.zenadayspa.com . Let me know and we can book us all together...

HEY Everyone...

It is only 46 days until the big day... hard to believe. I want to let everyone know that those of you who will be in town early on Friday before the wedding, the GIRLS are going to go to VINO 100 for a glass of wine prior to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. More details to follow- check it out... Pelita and I are so excited to see you all.

Girl's Night Out

Sacramento... Thanks to all that made it. We had a great time- lunch at River City Brewery, shopping and make up at Macys... Drinks- Fondue at Melting Pot, Dancing at The Park... a 2am walk ALL over Sacramento...

One month away!

Here is our Hotel:  I rented one room- wasn't sure who was going to stay the night email me and let me know- if you want your own room or want to pair up with someone the website is  The Grand Sheraton Hotel in Sacramento- located on J street.  It is walking distance to Melting Pot and a lot of great lounges.  Anyone is welcome to stay with Pelita and I- we have 2 beds and floor space.  Just let me know.  Invitations in the mail this week.

Upcoming Events...

Here are the dates for Pelita's Shower and Bachelorette Fondue Ladies Night out.

The shower will be in Madera/Fresno on September 6th, 2008 it will be a brunch shower from 10-1pm (you can come early and of course stay longer) location TBA...

The Ladies Night out will be August 2nd, 2008. We will start with some shopping at Downtown Plaza in Sacramento, maybe some pedicures...,get ready at our hotel, then Melting Pot for dinner. Drinks to follow at some GREAT lounges/bars in downtown sacramento. Breakfast the next morning at Cafe Benardo to end our trip. Please let me know if you will be staying the night... I need to plan how many hotel rooms and the cost for all.

Pelita and Marc have made a decision, like many of us, to join their lives together and become a family. This amazing commitment will be celebrated not just on the 4th of October- but forever there after. As long as we keep the big picture in mind, the details will always fall into place. Pelita's set her date!

Hey Girls!

As you know Pelita has set her date.  October 4th 2008.  This means plan on the 3rd for the rehearsal dinner.  I am going to set dates for her bridal shower in July.  Also, we will have a last night as a single girl dinner- probably fondue in Sac.Town (happy medium for everyone).  This blog will eventually include all wedding details... and if you haven't checked your email your bride's maid dress has been selected.  Colors: Navy and white.  Classic and clean- just like our girl!
